1. Overview

Wapp Group Extractor ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension developed and operated by BizSenti ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles information when you use it.

By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. What Data the Extension Accesses

The Extension accesses the following data solely within your browser:

• WhatsApp group member names — both saved contact names and WhatsApp display names visible on WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com)
• Phone numbers — the phone numbers of group members, as exposed by WhatsApp Web's internal data
• Group name — the name of the WhatsApp group being extracted

This data is read directly from the WhatsApp Web page loaded in your browser. The Extension does not log into WhatsApp independently or access any WhatsApp servers directly.

3. How Data Is Stored

Extracted member data is stored exclusively using chrome.storage.local — Chrome's built-in local storage API. This means:

• Data is stored only on your device, inside your Chrome browser profile
• Data is never synced to Chrome's cloud sync or any external server
• Data persists until you click "Clear Data" in the Extension or uninstall it

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:

• Your WhatsApp messages or media
• Your WhatsApp account credentials or session tokens
• The extracted member data (names/phone numbers)
• Your browsing history or activity on other websites
• Any analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics

5. License Key & Payment Data

The Extension requires a valid license key to operate. The following applies to license management:

• When you activate or validate your license key, the key is sent to Dodo Payments (api.dodopayments.com) to verify it is valid and active
• No member data or browsing data is included in this request — only the license key itself
• Payment processing and billing are handled entirely by Dodo Payments. We do not store your payment card details

After a successful validation, the result is cached locally for 24 hours to avoid repeated API calls.

6. Permissions Used

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions and uses them solely as described:

• activeTab — to read data from the WhatsApp Web tab you are actively viewing
• scripting — to run the extraction script on the WhatsApp Web page
• downloads — to trigger the CSV file download to your device
• storage — to store extracted members locally via chrome.storage.local
• host permission: web.whatsapp.com — to operate on WhatsApp Web only
• host permission: api.dodopayments.com — to validate your license key

7. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with the following third-party service:

• Dodo Payments — used for payment processing and license key validation. See their privacy policy at dodopayments.com/privacy
• WhatsApp Web — the Extension reads data from the WhatsApp Web interface already loaded in your browser. Meta/WhatsApp's own privacy policy governs that service

8. Data Deletion

You can remove all locally stored member data at any time by:

• Clicking the "Clear Data" button in the Extension popup
• Uninstalling the Extension from Chrome (which removes all associated local storage)

To cancel your subscription and stop license validation calls, cancel your subscription via Dodo Payments and then deactivate the license key within the Extension.

9. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
